Puget Sound Landscaping (PSL) has an enthusiastic staff of 65 full-time,
year-round employees. Many of our staff members have worked at PSL
for long periods of time, and PSL strives to create career opportunities
for people who are interested in working in the landscape industry.
We are skilled in all elements of landscape installation and take
pride in doing our work well. We own and maintain all of our equipment
enabling our employees to be skilled and efficient in the safe operation
of all equipment used on our projects.
Kris Knudsen—Owner and President
Kris has been in the landscape industry since he began mowing lawns
in his teens. For more than thirty years, Kris has enjoyed the challenges
of the industry as well as its creative rewards. "We

Andrea Hicks—Office Manager
Andrea is responsible for invoices, accounts payable and accounts
receivable. Andrea has more than ten years of accounting and bookkeeping

Nasario Llamas—General Manager
Nasario oversees operations for all of PSL's landscape construction
projects. Nasario has experience in all areas of landscape construction

Kurtis Roberts—Landscape Architect
Kurtis is in charge of PSL's design team. He has been involved in
the construction industry since 1988, and this experience enables
him to balance the aesthetic and practical needs of both residential
and commercial projects. Kurtis graduated from Washington State
University in 1996 and is a licensed landscape architect in the

Rachel Kouhsen—Landscape Designer
Rachel creates unique and practical landscape designs for residential,
commercial, and recreational projects. She graduated from the University
of Idaho with a BA in landscape architecture and is a member of

Dan Alley—Project Manager/Designer
Dan oversees small residential & commercial landscape projects
from design to completion. Dan has a BS in Natural Resource Management&
Landscape Architecture from Washington State University and has

Jake Richardson—Maintenance Manager
Jake oversees our maintenance team and all of our landscape maintenance
projects. He has worked for PSL since 1999 and has background experience
in both landscape construction and landscape maintenance.

Maggie Ellis—Customer Care
Maggie is the liaison between the office and our customer care field
specialist Scott Worman and maintenance manager, Jake Richardson.
She also assists with daily operations of Puget Sound Landscaping.
Maggie joined the PSL staff in 2007 and has a B. A. in Peace &

Jim Espedal—Nursery Manager
Jim is in charge of nursery stock and ensures that our plant material
meets nursery standards in terms of quality and size. Jim has a
BA degree in Visual Arts from The Evergreen State College. jespedal@theplantplacenursery.com
Angie Dorian—Nursery Buyer
Angie purchases all of the plants for our nursery and supplies all
of the plants for PSL's projects. Angie has an AA degree from South
Puget Sound Community College and attended The Evergreen State College.
